What is travel insurance?
What is Travel Insurance?
Travel insurance guarantees the traveler's support in case problems or unforeseen events occur during the trip such as loss and damage to luggage, medical, pharmaceutical, and dental expenses, among others.
It's a way to prevent these situations, ensuring agility and economy!
When contracted, insurance covers the period of travel (from the moment the traveler leaves the point of origin until arrival at the destination, on the bus).
We are not the ones who provide the insurance service, but our partner company, Universal Assistance. Here, we only act as intermediaries for the insurance contract.
How to buy Travel Insurance?
When booking your trip, you will have the option to include the hiring of Travel Insurance. You can just select the insurance for each traveler you want to insure and go ahead with the purchase, filling in the data that will be requested on the identification screen. You will not be able to purchase insurance separately from your travel booking.
I took out the insurance. And now?
You will receive the insurance policy for each traveler by email.
If it is a round trip and the departure date the departure and the date of disembarkation of the return are on the same day, only one policy will be issued per passenger. If the trip is a round trip and the routes take place on different days, each passenger will have 2 policies.
Please remember that taking out insurance is optional, but we highly recommend it.
