If you have the ID Jovem card, you can use it to request free seats or seats with a minimum 50% discount that bus and conventional train companies must offer for interstate trips! This benefit is available for young people between 15 and 29 years old.
How to request the benefit?
- Sign up for the program: go to the gov.br portal to get your virtual ID Jovem card.
- Present your documents: with a valid virtual card and an original photo ID, head to the company's counter and request the benefit. Or, if you prefer, send your request through our form.
Conditions for using ID Jovem
- The trip must be interstate (between different states).
- Make your reservation at least 3 hours before boarding. You can also request a return ticket when available.
- After this deadline, companies may put the seats up for sale, but if they're not sold, they remain available for those with the benefit.
Heads up: ID Jovem does not cover toll, terminal, or meal fees.
