What is the baggage allowance for bus travel?

Each passenger is entitled to carry up to 30 kg in the luggage compartment at no additional cost. The luggage volume can be up to 300 cubic decimeters and must not exceed 1 meter in its largest dimension. Additionally, you can bring a small item of up to 5 kg in the overhead compartment, as long as it’s easy to stow away.

If you need to bring more baggage beyond these limits, there may be a fee for excess weight. Each bus company has different policies, so it’s a good idea to check in advance to avoid surprises!

Oh, and don’t forget: you have the right to receive tags for all checked baggage.

If your trip is within the same state, the weight limit might vary according to the local regulatory agency. So, make sure to check with the bus company before your trip, alright?
