How does the service fee work?

What is the service fee?

The service fee is an additional amount we charge to ensure you can conveniently book your ticket online without having to go to the bus station.

Why do we charge this fee?

The service fee helps us cover costs such as payment processing, online security, partnerships that enhance your experience, and keeping our support team ready to assist you whenever needed.

How can I find out the service fee amount on my order?

The service fee amount will appear in your shopping cart, proportional to the value of your booking. You can also find this information in your confirmation email. Here’s an example of how it’s displayed in the cart:

Why isn’t the service fee refundable if I cancel my trip?

This fee covers the costs of the online booking service, not the trip itself. Once you complete the purchase, those costs have already been incurred. Therefore, even if you cancel, the service fee is non-refundable.

Exception: For bookings made 7 days before the trip, the service fee may be refundable if you cancel. If this applies to you, cancel your booking and contact us.

Will I pay any other fees besides this one?

The only fee we retain is the service fee.

However, note that some bus companies may charge a 5% fee on the ticket price in case of cancellation. This is regulated by the ANTT (National Agency for Land Transport), which allows this deduction as a sales commission and compensatory penalty.

Can the bus company charge a fee for canceling the ticket?

Yes, as mentioned, some companies may apply the 5% deduction. This charge is unrelated to our service fee and can be verified in the official ANTT guide, page 14.
