What should I do if my bus is delayed?

It will depend on the situation! Check out the scenarios below to see which one applies to your case:

Delay of 1 to 3 hours for interstate trips

  • Wait for the bus departure with the updated schedule from the bus company.
  • Request to continue your trip with another bus company at no extra cost! Any additional charges will be covered by the original bus company.
  • Receive an immediate refund at the bus company’s counter (Unfortunately, our system cannot process this refund).

Delay of over 3 hours for interstate trips

If the delay is more than 3 hours, you are entitled to:

  • Food provided by the bus company until the situation is resolved.
  • If the trip cannot be completed on the same day, the bus company must arrange accommodation for you.

These rules are set by ANTT (National Land Transport Agency), so for interstate travel, the bus company must comply with these guidelines. You can even show the ANTT booklet, which details these rights on pages 10 and 11, directly at the counter.

Delays for intercity trips

In this case, it’s important to contact the bus company directly to check the best options. Try the counter, phone, or other instant support channels.
